      Hello all!

I’m new to tinnitus with about a month of having it. I have seen an ENT who said my tinnitus is due to blocked Eustachian tubes. I had an MRI of my head and all is fine. I’ve tried the oral steroids and Flonase but with no success. I have tinnitus in my right ear which has fullness and I’m unable to pop it. I have crackling as well. My tinnitus is now a low mellow buzzing. It was much louder when I first got it. My dentist has confirmed I grind my teeth so I have purchased a night guard.

I will be going for a second opinion this month. I hope he can get my right Eustachian tube to unblock.

      Anyone have my similar issues?

      Thank you!

I’ve been suffering with on / off blocked ET for a year now! I haven’t found anything that helps nor have I found anything to stop myself having a flare :-( I don’t have tonsils but I do have ‘bulky’ adenoids! Don’t know if that causes it though.

Have you looked into the procedure where they use a balloon to open the ETs? I’m hoping for this. I see a new ENT at the end of the month that does this procedure.
