Explosion Feeling in One Ear, Followed by Hissing and Moving Into Other Ear

Hi,

Today all of a sudden I had an event that got me scared, I literally thought I had gone deaf for a second...

The best way I can describe it is an explosion feeling in one ear, then it went to the other ear, followed by hissing, like something passed through my head very rapidly...

All of it happened very rapidly, in less than 0.1 seconds, then the hissing effect lasted like 10 seconds...

One colleague of mine felt that at the same time, described it without me saying anything, and it matched me experience, and what is strange is that others didn't hear anything!!

What the hell is this? It's not the first time it happens to me in the last couple of months.

The fact that both of you experienced it simultaneously leads one to believe that it was environmentally induced. Strange thing indeed.
