I just got a cold after going to the ENT, ironically. I need some help on what to do to ensure my T doesn't get worse. It's not that bad right now. I don't want to blow my nose too hard and push mucus into my ear.

I hope my ear drums don't burst...what precautions should I take?

Hi. Over Christmas and New Year I had a severe virus that lasted for three weeks and knocked me off my feet. During my illness I never noticed my mild T. Once my symptoms began to clear I noticed my usually very very quiet T has cranked up the volume. It's been louder for about five weeks now but is gradually getting softer and less fluctuating. My Dr prescribed me a nasal spray which i do believe is slowly working. As for the increase in volume, with hindsight I attribute it to the medication I took for my cold, a lot of which contained Ibuprofen. I also had a severe reaction to Sudafed. I too did some pretty aggressive nose blowing so who knows? Apparently I now also have ETD. I do feel it is improving slowly but surely.
