First Onset of Hyperacusis?

Hi, as of last Sunday (24th August) after 3 1/2 months of mild tinnitus due to noise induced hearing loss I suddenly started to develop a feeling of super sensitivity to certain sounds and frequencies that normally I could have tolerated without any problems…

So I immediately ruled out Anxiety being the cause of this as I haven’t really had any problems with my T to make me anxious, so I was just wondering as admittedly I don’t know much about H; does this sound like H? or could it be something else as I didn’t do anything to trigger it..

 

Hello Luke, I have T about 4 months now, I did develop H about 3 months into it, but I will say the last few weeks it seemed to have gone away, I hope it stay away!, It will go away, just try not to think too much about it...Billie 48 has a good blog on T & H... very comforting check it out!STAY STRONG!

 

Magnesium and NAC helps a lot against H. And white or pink noise on gently level.
