      I didn't notice T until I moved out of my parents house and into an apartment. At my parents house I had a fish tank in my bedroom with an air pump so it always made a hummmmmmm. At my apartment I moved the fish tank into the living room and for the first time in many years I had a quiet bedroom. Didn't take long to start noticing a slight ringing in my ear...

      Anyways, Fish tanks are cool, they are fun to look at and can be relaxing. Also if placed near your bed can help aid in masking, sadly my bedroom fish tank's filter is a bit too low in frequency to mask my T, but it does help give background noise which is a win win regardless.

      First tank is on our main floor, we are in a town home and the fish tank is in the middle of the house with the stairs wrapping around it.

      We have a very modern design to our decor so for the bedroom I wanted something to fit our room and not seem out of place. So I ended up making a wall mounted tank. I came up with the idea for it one day and searched around for the perfect cabinet to use as a base, then bought a fish tank that fit the cabinet perfectly for seamless look. In the end this is what I came up with.

      This picture was taken after I redid the tank, so all plants were pulled up and replanted. In a month or two the whole tank should fill in nicely with growth. The grass should carpet the ground like it is in the other tank. Also hoping the stuff on the tree grows and covers all the wood. If it grows in correctly it will make the tree look like a live living tree which is awesome!

      Just thought I'd share our tanks. It's nice having a functional masking tool even if it doesn't really mask all that well for my T. I'm sure a different filter, or adding more water flow would fix that. but for now, I'm happy with how it is.

      Looks great! I remember I discovered this when I first got T, I used to go and read in my sister's room because she had a tank in there

      image001-5.jpg @jeffie7,

      Very nice aquascapes! looks like you have seen the artistry of the great, Takashi Amano. You have obviously been doing aquariums for a while. Are, you doing CO2? Looks like it.

      I have a 36 gallon Sea Clear, bowfront. Older image above.

      Very nice, those baby tears? came in nicely.

      Yes injecting, I was doing DIY co2 but got lazy. Paintball Co2 setups are awesome for smaller tanks plus dicks sporting goods refills them for $3.99 and every 5th refill is free. Not too bad for 6-8 months worth of Co2 on a single 20oz tank.

      @jeffie7,

      Yup, dwarf baby tears. Tank was overdo, for a major trimming session. I used twin DYI CO2 bottles and once I can see get beyond this noise in my head, I'll do pressurized CO2.

      I'm still having a rough time, focusing on most anything these days. My T is very loud! Gonna take some time to adjust. (Hoping and praying I can?)

      I Have seen that Takashi Amano video. He's awesome and makes it look so simple. Of course, having a staff doing most of the grunt work, helps.

      You have show quality tanks! Nice work!
