Announcement Forum Upgraded — New Features

The forum has been upgraded.

First, the forum theme has been modified a bit because as it was it would have required considerable tweaking to be compatible with the newest forum version. It's possible that the old style will make a comeback when we get around to fixing it, but in the meanwhile please enjoy this new one -- it's similar to the old one though, so maybe you didn't even notice the difference...

Second, some new features! Many of the changes are "behind the hood", but there are some visible new features, too.

The text editor toolbar has been simplified

As you can see, some of the less used functions have been moved under that new button named "Insert...".
There is now also a Spoiler function, which is useful for those hectic TV discussions we have going on in the General Chat! Just select some text you've written in the text area and click the Spoiler selection, and you're set.

Profile Post and Comment Tagging
User tagging is now supported in profile posts and comments. To the end user making a post, the syntax is the same (@Markku) and auto suggest is supported.

EXIF Rotation
No longer are some of your photos upside down which you have taken with iPhone/iPad and some other devices. All such photos are automatically rotated properly when you post them.

Google & Twitter Sign-In

New members can register and existing members can associate their current accounts with any of the methods - if they want. Previously there was only Facebook authentication available.
