Anyone have experience with this? This is unrelated to tinnitus, but it looks like my best friend (and the only person who was in the trenches with me through all my health battles) is facing this.

I'm at the ER with him and he is rapidly losing the ability to walk and I'm scared shitless for him.

Since it can sometimes cause hearing issues, I wonder if anyone here had it and can let me know what recovery is like.

Do you have the same blood type? The treatment is intravenous immunoglobin.

Hi, a friend at my work M-I-L has this, she made a more or less full recovery but was in hospital for around 5 months. She walks with the aid of only 1 walking stick when they told her that her leg would be in a caliper for life.

I hope your friend has a speedy recovery xx
