      Hi,

I'm new here, although I have been scanning this site regularly for a while.

Yesterday I was out riding my bike with my mates. We were messing about on a hilltop for around 2 hours. I noticed that there was a lot of guns being fired in the distance during the 2 hours we were on the hilltop.

When I got home, I did some research and found out the gunshots were coming from a clay pigeon shooting range which was 1.7 miles away from where we were on our bikes. I found out what guns they were using and did the math. From the calculation I estimate that the peak dB coming from the gunshots would have been 81 dB max.

Granted this is generally seen as a safe dB noise level, I'm wondering if I should be worried. My tinnitus has not spiked, nor have I had any ear fullness and it's been 20 hours since the exposure. Am I just being paranoid??

      Many thanks.
