      Anyone had a cerebral angiogram in attempts to look at the veins and arteries of the brain?

      Yes, I did.
      Talk to Karen. She had an MRA, which is another test to check your veins and arteries. It may be better than the angiogram done with the help of radioscope monitor.
      Just my 2 cents.

      Thanks! For some reason I didn't get the notification of your post. I called my neurologist last week and told him of my worsening tinnitus and the new dog whistle tone I have and he has ordered an angiogram to better look at the veinous structure of my brain and this lesion I have. It sounds like an extremely invasive procedure with a lot of risks.. I'm not sure exactly what he's looking for an have a call in to him to ask some more questions before consenting. I also have a consultation with the dr who performs them Wednesday but it sounds very terrifying..

      @Karen any suggestions?

      Hi @Natalie Roberts ,
      I have had one done before christmas when I was in hospital
      Had MRI on head and neck
      CT scan on head and neck
      Angiogram on head
      Lumbar puncture

      Its nothing to be worried about,
      Its a CT scan but have a injection of dye in you arm before it starts.
      Makes you feel a little warm feeling in your arm as it goes in but nothing nasty and you will be fine I promise...lots of love glynis

      They are taking about going in through my femoral artery and up to my brain through that and injecting me with contrast then doing the imaging. It sounds invasive and awful.
