Headphone Volume

I have this habit of listening to music on full blast using a headphone. Does it have any effect on my hearing?

 

This is habit you will will want to break immediately. Most definitely it will harm your hearing and you will have no one to blame but yourself.

 

So is there no brand of headsets which have a solution for this?

 

They all have a solution. Turn the volume down to about half and listen as long as you like.

You can try noise cancellation headphones too.. no need to have them on full blast. Your Tinnitu smight very well worsen if you keep doing that.

 

Listening to loud music will definitly damage your hearing

 

Anything over 85db will damage your over time. Slightly over 85 several hours, higher for some within minutes. The solution is a db meter and volume control. Or a very high impedance headphone which cant be driven to loud levels on portable players. Etymotic has them for kids with an impedance of 300ohms
