I just wanted to say to people that are really suffering with tinnitus that a hearing aid with built in blue tooth may bring some relief.

The idea is that when the ringing is bothering you, you can play some music through a smartphone (the ones I saw a while back used an iPhone) and then stream it directly to your hearing aids.

This way, you can play some music and hopefully mask some of your tinnitus. Another thing you could do is have some nature sounds streamed as well or if the hearing aids had built in maskers you could use them.

Ideally, they could act as a 'safety net' for you if you get really sick of the tinnitus sounds.

I know this won't help everyone but perhaps it would with some.

Good idea. I suppose some people will say it might make tinnitus worse. But I think it's a great idea.

Thanks! That reminds me....I need to tell everyone to always keep the hearing aids at a safe volume! Basically, a low setting.
