Hello!
My name is Lindsay, I am 23 from Canada.
I have had Tinnitus for as long as I can remember. I remember asking one of my parents as a child if it was considered "normal" to have ringing in the ears. I asked because while I was accustomed to the sound, it was particularly loud one day, maybe after having a head-cold or something.
I wonder, has anyone heard of people being born with Tinnitus? Could the cause of mine be linked to the frequent ear infections I had as a girl? I used to have seemingly chronic ear infections as a small child, I don't remember for how long exactly.
Anyway, I live every day of my life with Tinnitus and I consider myself lucky in one way, that it is something I've grown up with rather than something that started later in life.
All the best everyone!
