Had tinnitus for years now and have always been fine taking ibuprofen but after a recent spike which scared the crap out of me, I have been reading about what may have caused it... Read that certain anti inflammatory meds can make tinnitus worse, but my general practitioner didn't know which brands/types it was. (Thanks, doc).

Does anyone here know which ones are safe? And yes, I do need the anti-inflammatories or I'll be in agony for 5 days of the month. (Sorry dudes).

      Don't know.
All anti inflammatory medicines are toxic.

Hi @Kimberley Carlin im able to take Motrin (small dose) without any issues on my T. However, I don’t want to risk one day that it might so I changed to a natural source. Turmeric works great on pain for me. Maybe look into it. My doctor was the same way. Pretty much said try whatever you want and if your ears get worst to stop it.

      You’ve answered your own question.

All the best and I hope your spike settles soon.
