Hi all..well where to start...Since 2 months ago after terrible ear infection unf i started hearing very high pitched sound in both ears and it never stopped even for a sec since then..
Fist 2 weeks were hell now its much less loud but still iam aware of my T almost all the time and often it makes me anxious and destroys my mood. There is still that hope that it will go away but if it doesnt i dont know how i will handle that..
I went to ENT and she made audiometric and timpanometric tests...she said i have sensorineural hearing loss of 20 db on both ears.. iam not sure how bad that is. She didnt gave me anything or sent me on some other tests to see if the cause of my T is something else she just told me to come after 6 months back to check if my hearing dont get worsse..
Iam very afraid that my T can get even worse and that i wont be even able to sleep..atm at least i can sleep well.
I dont even know what to do next and i came here to ask fo radvice or to learn to cope with tinnitus since i dont know much about that and atm it seems to me like ill neevr gonna be able to get use to it and live with it at least not normal and happy life.
Sorry for my bad English iam really giving my best...

Welcome Dragan. Your tinnitus is still relatively new. So it is understandable you are anxious about a lot of things like many of us did when we were new with our T. There are many great threads on TT which can help a new T sufferer. Here is an excellent thread started by a member on what to do when you are new with tinnitus and stressed out. I added some comments to the OP’s thread, but you can scroll up to post #1 to read up on the excellent suggestions by the original poster.

TT also has this standard thread which besides giving you some excellent masking sounds with an audio player, it also contains tips and step by step instructions for newer sufferers. Here is the link for it:

https://www.tinnitustalk.com/panic/ (the icons on the left side give you instructions step by step)

So, relax. There are many things one can do to get better. Instead of wasting energy on worry and panicking, perhaps follow some of these steps and suggestions to see if they can help you feel better. You can also read up many success stories to give you hope. Don't panic and despair. You will get better. Good life can be back. Believe it and be positive about the future. Take good care and God bless.
