I have ringing in my ears.
Stiff neck.
Uncomfortable feeling/ slight pain, when I hold my head real far back.
Any suggestion welcomed.
I am new here. Had my tinnitus for about 8 months.
Been to docs. No help. Been to ear nose doc, no help. Had hearing test. Was OK. I can hear just fine.

Other than depressed, feel just fine and am able to be active in my life.
Work in my garden. Take adult ed classes through out the year.
Walk all the time downtown. Ride a bike.
 
@Stevekk, welcome and I'm sorry for your T. I just wanted to pass along info about the source. My ENT said T was very common, like 20% of the population has it. And particularly as we age.....it can develop. I'm in my 50's so I can't hear many frequencies above 13000 Hz. I'm going to guess that perhaps the max freq you can hear is perhaps lower. What that can then do is cause the brain or audio nerve to overreact and fill in. My audiology test only went to 8000Hz, and in my opinion it's the possible losses in the higher frequencies (due to age but primarily a noise event) which has lead to my T.

I'm not sure what advice to give, but wish you well in coping. You can look up articles on aging-related tinnitus and may find help. Forgive me if you have other possible reasons for the T or are looking for solid advice. I have sympathy, believe me.
