Hi I'm Julio from Chile, (apologies if I misspelled or something else English is not my first language) after months dealing with T and not been aware of what was, yesterday was diagnosed, it started a few months ago in my left ear and go away for a a while, then came back in a higher pitch.

It has been very hard sleeping at night, even if I masked the sound.

The only good thing about it is I found this forum.

Welcome to Tinnitus Talk @KidJay,
Have a chat with your doctor if sleeping becomes a problem and maybe try melatonin.
How are you coping with it yourself regarding anxiety or stress or low mood ?
Love glynis

Bienvenido KidJay! You developed T the same month as me. Stay positive and know that the future will get better!

Welcome to the forum. What masking sounds you are using that can't mask your high pitch tinnitus. Did you use the high frequency sounds such as heavy rain, waves, waterfall, cricket, even show sounds?

Were you exposed to any loud noises after T stopped the first time, and before it began again?

If you got cured the first time, let's hope it happens one more time.
