Hi all ,a simple question for a simple mind ie me:confused:

If you have slight to moderate High Frequency Hearing loss does that AUTOMATICALLY mean that you will have Tinnitus to go with it?

I cant really see a definitive answer on the web, what say anyone? In the Uk I believe Drs would say yes ,.but.mmmm

      Thanks,Pete

      Hi Pete,

No, I have read that it does not follow that hearing loss = tinnitus. You can have the loss without the T (if you are lucky :().

Yes that is true. I know a few people with moderate to severe hearing loss and no tinnitus.

I am in agreement on this, some have a loss and no T monster under their bed or in their closets. Lucky them! I am going to name mine, of course it will have to be a cool name, any suggestions?
