Hope? Doctor Says My Tinnitus Should Improve After Fluid in Ears / Severe Glue Ear Are Treated

Tonsil
Today is the first time I have felt some hope. In January I had tinnitus/ear fullness/dizziness come on very suddenly. Was diagnosed with labyrinthitis and told to get on with it basically. I have seen numerous doctors and all have said ears look absolutely fine & the tinnitus is just something I have to deal with.

My anxiety has gone through the roof which I'm now on medication for and I have on and off ear distortion/hyperacusis that seems to come and go for no reason at all.

Today I went for my check up and to refill my prescription and I saw a new doctor. He looked in my ears and said I have severe glue ear and fluid in both ears but particularly bad on the right which is where I get bad ringing.

He thinks I can 100% get on top of this and that my ringing should stop once I have. I'm not even ashamed to say that I cried right there in the doctor's office because I had resigned myself to the fact this was forever.

Has anyone got any experience with this?

Are you in the UK? Reason I ask is a lot of medical professionals have said it's going around.

Same story hear, except the doc says my ears are fine. That the labs beginning or March. Tinnitus came on a few weeks later.

It's mildly annoying.

Let me just ask if you have a history of loud music, concerts, loud noise, loud headphones?

No music for me, well not loud. Glue ear lasts a few months...
okay good, I believe your doctor, take his advice.

There are just some scenarios where people had loud music, and they are in denial of it being the cause, you are not one of them.
