How Long Can I Keep Working?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      overuse of hearing protection, plus noise
      i work as a professional, and for the past 6 months i've been doing relatively well, but last few days when i get up first thing in the morning, i have a super loud buzzing noise now, and i am so worried i won't be able to work any more. will tinnitus destroy my career?

      Hi Object16,
      It sounds like you have had a increase in your sound something has spiked it and should settle down soon to your normal base sound .
      Might be worth getting your ears checked incase its a build up of wax etc.

      Try stay calm and do what you can relax.
      I know it can be hard concentrate when it gets loud but try have some background sound on around you..

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Ear infection.
      No it won't destroy your caree. But if your tinnitus doesn't go away you will adapt to it, it does get better, so don't worry stay strong live your life. And remember we are all here for you.

      Noise exposure
      I sometimes have the same question. It's not easy to concentrate at work with noisy ears and no sleep. I just take one day at a time. Don't think ahead. Manage each day as it comes.
