I went to a restaurant that was noisy last night. Today my hearing is down. I have some Prednisone and don't want to ask a Dr b/c they'll just tell me not to take it. What is normally prescribed after a noise exposure?

25-50mg.
Ps. I very much doubt a restaurant caused problems unless they had a live band or something playing.

Most doctors will suggest you to go for a max of 10 days to 2 weeks. My ENT said you should know pretty quickly if you will get a response from the tablets, anyway.
ps. Make sure you taper down your dosage at the end slowly.
