I have heard there is different ways to do it. Not sure if it it would be safe for everyone but I read something about sleep deprivation for a night and then using a bright light in the morning and sleep phase advances the next several days.
Wikipedia has a schedule such as the following but doesn't mention anything about bright lights, mostly sleep phase advances:
Anyone tried this? It seems like it would take a about week to get to close the final bed time using the Wikipedia plan and of course it would interfere with things. The other thing I am thinking is that if someone had tinnitus that was affected by sleep, could it be helped by this and maintaining sleep schedules after Day 14? Anyone have any experience here or alternative plans?
