I Hear My Heartbeat in My Ear After Chewing

It's really loud and clear. The first few times I thought it was someone's footsteps. It's a lot more noticeable with earplugs in.

It's only in the left ear, it seems.

Anyone know what this could be?

Like whooshing? I have pulsatile tinnitus but it sounds like squealing with my heartbeat.

Maybe TMJ or inflammation is pressing on a nerve or artery. I don't know...

No, thumping. Just, my actual heartbeat sound. Sounds like I've got my ear right up to my bare heart.

I have whooshing in sync with my pulse too sometimes though.
