Tinnitus Since
02/2016
After almost a year of constant tinnitus in my left ear:

Today I have had this blocked ear sensation in my right ear (just like when I got tinnitus in the first place) and I notice a hissing kinda high pitched...

To be honest I still don't know the cause of my tinnitus.

Last time I saw a specialist (he told me that my tinnitus comes from an endolymphatic nature
(but I dont think it's Meniere's since Meniere's mainly strikes one ear and also I don't have any dizziness or vertigo thank god).

My t gets worse with sugar, salt and MSG.
And it has gotten so much better in these past months...

Could this be something momentary?

I also noticed that my hearing was acting up a bit today... not sure if my two ears were acting up

Also lately as some of you may know I have had weird symptoms with my vision and early morning body pain...

I wonder if everything is related.

anyways thanks, I hope someone here has an answer or a similar experience

Mario,

Sorry to hear that your t has changed.

I experienced something similiar to you in that it started in the right ear/side of my head (the side where i had the ear infection) and it seemed to move to the left ear and also my head. So, now I am a human surround sound system.

I think many of us have experienced this. Youre not alone.

Personally, from all that I have read, I think this is maladaptive plasticity at work unfortunately.

Mine is Bilateral tinnitus with Bilateral Menieres ...
Tinnitus can change from ear to ear or both and back again or stay....lots of love glynis
