If You Have a Tinnitus Spike, Should You Always See a Doctor?

      Summer of 1990
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Noise exposure?
      If you are experiencing a spike in tinnitus, should you always see a doctor? Would it help or be a waste of money?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      acoustic trauma?
      Doctors can't help. Nor can ENTs. Try NAC and Magnesium chelate. Hope it goes down. :(

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Loud music
      I've seen three doctors in three weeks following each of my recent spikes. Only the third gave me any form of hope and any meaningful treatment. Maybe by then they were starting to take me more seriously.

      Hope your spike settles and you get some improvement,
