If you are experiencing a spike in tinnitus, should you always see a doctor? Would it help or be a waste of money?

Doctors can't help. Nor can ENTs. Try NAC and Magnesium chelate. Hope it goes down.

I've seen three doctors in three weeks following each of my recent spikes. Only the third gave me any form of hope and any meaningful treatment. Maybe by then they were starting to take me more seriously.
