Hi ....

I am new here and have been reading many of the posts.

I've been struggling with tinnitus for about a month. My Mom passed away at the beginning of the month and it seems like the tinnitus started right after the I returned from the flight home. It has been difficult emotionally ..... and I can't help but wonder if it related to the stress of her passing and/or the change in the air pressure in the plane.

I also have a question. Are we able to reach out and email another forum member directly to maybe ask a question to that individual?

Hi and welcome Cher2. Sorry to hear about your mom. Yes, it is possible that either of these triggered your T and I hope you have support to help you through the grieving process.

It is highly likely that your T will subside but it may take a little time. Was your mom terminally ill or was her death sudden and unexpected?
