Good morning Mystery Reader, at least here in Canada it is morning.

I am sure all will be fine, like @glynis said in her post above. It is good advice from your ENT, in my personal opinion. Three good smacks to the head should be looked into.

      Please keep us updated.

Oh I would never and still never use just the letter. I always write "tinnitus" out. Not sure why. I felt using the letter seemed...strange. This is just my quirky thing.

      Thanks for your story.

Did you have the CT scan today?

      Hi @Mystery Reader,

Can you explain what the CT scan is like? I had a few at my dental specialist for the head. It was so weird seeing my skull and the bones and the damage I had from a bad dental procedure. I stood in a machine that surrounded the head and something went around. Only took a few minutes.

Just wondered if that is the same thing. Glad everything went well!!!

Mine was done in the reclining position with a CT scanner similar to this. Took about three minutes or so. Same sensation as you describe as "something going around." Wasn't allowed to use earplugs as the scan was of the head, but fortunately the machine wasn't too loud.
