Is It OK to Use Olbas Oil or Vicks?

Hi all, hope we are all feeling ok today.

As I seem to have had this cold/chesty off on and off for two months am I ok to use olbas oil or Vicks in some hot water and inhale?

My right ear seems to feel more full the last few days with a weird hiss and slight ringing, I'm worried if using olbas oil or Vicks can make it worse.

Some advice would be very much welcomed.

I've used Vicks on many occasions with no issues, if that helps?
