I am internet not-so-savy. I am ! aware that nothing has been proven to treat this condition, that I've had for 35 years. After this much time, you tune it out, and accept that there will never be complete silenece. Anyway, I know there's no hope and no cure and no frickin definite explanation. So. Whatever. It would be nice to have silence. But perhaps this is my karma. Or fate. Or yaya

Welcome to the forum. That you can accept your T and live with it for all that long is admirable. So give yourself some positive and many new members can see this as T is livable if not curable. As for treatments, there is no magic bullet right now but some companies are working on them. Drugs such as AM-101, OTO-311, RL-81, SF0034 are all either being tested or researched. So the medical/pharmaceutical world is catching up on tinnitus with these new drugs on the horizon. Check out the Treatment section on TT for more detail.
