Having shared the URL of another site which gives audio examples of what some tinnitus sufferers hear, someone responded and mentioned Tinnitus Talk. I just signed up here and wanted to introduce myself.
I have been hearing a high pitched frequency sound for about 55 years now, beginning when I was about ten years old. Last night I shared with my wife the example of what I hear and she was amazed, thinking it would drive someone crazy. She could hear it from our living room while I was playing the example on
my computer in the bedroom. Funny thing is, I couldn't hear it at all unless I held the speaker up to my ear, and then just faintly. I guess it just blended in so closely with what I always hear anyway, that I couldn't notice it.
Well, I look forward to reading things on this TT website, and wish you all well.
