      Hello, Forum!

Has anyone had lithrotripsy/shockwave treatment for breaking up kidney stones?

Is there a lot of loud noise associated with this procedure?

Or, have you had any other procedure for kidney stones, and did they have an element of loud noise levels?

What kind of precautions do folks like us with tinnitus and/or hyperacusis have to take beforehand? Do you have to be sedated during these procedures?

So many things to consider with medical stuff, now; hoping for some input from folks who may have had some experience with this.

      Thanks!

@K.A., apologies for just getting to this. As it turned out the situation didn't go that far!

Hope you are well, and thanks for responding!
