      Hi Dr. Nagler,
I am moving to the UK soon. I have been on Lorazepam, just .5mg daily for 4 weeks now. It has helped me sleep, reduced the perception of my t sounds, and kept the reactive part of my t that competes with certain environmental sounds more evened out. Without it, I will be a basket case. It has also helped keep my blood pressure normal, when a little high before.
My ENT out here prescribes it for me on an ongoing basis. But I know protracted use of this is more difficult in the UK.
Can you recommend any doctor to speak to in the UK who may be sympathetic to a longer term usage with t? I have had t for 5 months now. I would like to stabilize the first year before I think of weaning off the drug.
      Thanks so much, Dr. Nagler.
      Lisa

      Hi @Lisa88 -

Sorry, but that one's a bit above my pay grade.

Perhaps your current ENT has a friend/colleague in the UK to whom he or she can refer you. Then, if you bring a letter from your current ENT with you to explain your situation when you see your new ENT in the UK, that will hopefully pave the way for you.
