Lots of fluid in my ear and it's bulging. Any good advice for getting fluid out?

Went to urgent care again today because my ears are hurting and feeling all pressured. The dr could still see where my infection has gotten better but it's still there..but she said that there is so much fluid in my right ear that it's bulging :/ and my left has a lot of fluid but not as much as my right..

I think this is the root to my T and I am now positive it will go away once all my ears are healed and doing better. I have high hopes!

Any advice on how to get fluid out of your ears? I have no idea. She said to take sudafed every 4-6 hours ( this is okay right? It's not toxic to the ears!?) I've only been taking it once a day..

Would sleeping upright help me? Any advice would be really nice!

 

I ended up using a Netti pot. Finally the fluid cleared.

 

Try the sudafed see if it helps.

 

Thank you I've been taking it but only one tablet a day and my dr said take 2 every 4-6 hours so I am going to do that!

 

Are you using Sudafed behind the counter? I mentioned a ear popper on another thread that could help. I ordered one but it is on backorder. You could read that website over. I heard bad things about holding your nose and blowing. I think @carlover had a thread about clearing your Eustachian tubes. I will try to find it.

Are you using Sudafed behind the counter? With Pseudoephedrine
