I woke up to this low pitched, bassy sound in my left ear. Thing is, my affected ear is the right, and my left has been OK all this time. Can someone tell me what I just went through?

Yes, mine started left then right after the 3rd month and gradually elevated from mild to moderate. Hopefully the sound move out to the third ear
