I found online where I could find my T frequency and matched it around 8hz. When I listen to that frequency for a couple of minutes and stop I don't notice my T as bad. Is that good?? Should I get a masking hearing aids to help with my T?? Can I use the frequency finder and listen to it for a while to help also until I decide what to do??

It could be "residual inhibition", which lasts from seconds to hours or more, depending on the person.

It to me seems good great that you are getting this response.

Is the effect still lasting? If not, how quickly did the tinnitus return to normal level?

In my opinion you can very well use the frequency finder, it shouldn't harm you (if not too loud, that is).

By the way, which was the website you used to match your frequency?

I found NCH tone generator download and also Tinnitool website. I would guess that after a few minutes I start to notice it. I will contiune to test it and see what kind of results I get. I keep the volume low as possible.
