I’ve just started using Beconase which is a corticosteroid spray like Flonase - I can’t tell if it’s making me worse or not?

I was having a pretty bad spike anyway due to a train journey where my ears popped and became much louder and more painful than they had been in weeks, and I can’t tell now if they’re worse just because of that or if it’s the spray as well.

The noises have definitely changed, gone back to how they were at the very beginning 3 months ago.

The working diagnosis for what’s caused the tinnitus is ETD/fluid in the ear, so would it get louder before it got better anyway due to the spray maybe just because it’s all clearing itself up?

Has anyone else got a spike from these sprays and if so did it go away?

Should I keep taking it? My ears are still popping a lot and I do feel congested.

I never had an issue with flonase. You might be stressed out about that event and it could be delaying your recovery, from the spike.
