Howdy. I've had tinnitus even before I knew the word for it. Too much too loud rock'n'roll in my misspent youth. Being a motorcycle rider certainly doesn't help although my bike is very quiet - no loud pipes for me.

I fell last week and decided to take aspirin for the pain and my tinnitus has been getting worse since then. I didn't hear my alarm clock this morning. Back to ibuprofen for me. I hope it goes back to just being annoying instead of maddening.

Howdy Linda!

The ENT doctor asked me if I took aspirin when I saw shim regarding the tinnitus. I guess that is a trigger for it.

Is the hissing pulsating or steady?

Have you been to the audiologist yet to check for hearing loss?
