Misoprostol Treatment for Pulsatile Tinnitus

My doctor has prescribed misoprostol low dose for my pulsatile tinnitus. Says one of her patients has had success with reducing the noise. Shouldn't be used by all women however I've read that if you are post-menopause it is safe.

Anyone heard of this med as a possible treatment for PT?

A drug treatment of pulsatile tinnitus is unknown. Blood thinners may be helpful in individual cases.
