Hi all. I wanted to get your opinions on this study. Where could you get these probiotics? I have had tinnitus that I can change the volume of since childhood but it has worsened in recent months.

Did you ever manage to source these strains?

I have depleted lactobacillus and bifido strains. I'm starting probiotics, prebiotics, sodium butyrate, and colostrum.

 

I did some searching around and it looks like B. adolescentis can be found in a couple different supplements across the internet. B. dentium is apparently still in the research phase and isn’t available for human usage in food or supplements yet. This therapeutic website sells it but has it labeled as “study and research” and to not be used in humans.

 

1) Altered in what direction?
2) Which 5-HT receptors?

 

Well, it's certainly a new approach.

If the therapy can lower tinnitus a decibel or two... well, it's progress.

 

Not yet! I am going to look into it this week, though...!
