Mosquito Type Noise Generator

Over the weekend I was subjected to some type of noise generator, possibly along the lines of:

Only at high volume. Probably an app, then amplified on a stereo. Something along those lines.

Now my ears ring constantly. I bought some basic earmuffs and also ear plugs to protect my ears. Of course, I'll go to the doctor, but I expect they'll take a wait and see approach?

Welcome to the forum. If that device has done some damage, it is a forum of acoustic trauma. It has been promoted by some members here that victims of acoustic trauma should go for treatment with prednisone steroid asap. So that is something you can consult with your ENT or doctor.
