      Cause of Tinnitus:
Loud noise being in a band
Hi, I am a musician 55 years old and starting to have some mild tinnitus in my left ear and some hearing loss (have a hard time hearing with background noise).

I am concerned with my pitch perception and ability to sing with these age problems.

      Any insight?

You list "Loud noise being in a band" as your "Cause of T", so you already know your T is noise induced. If you keep exposing your ears to loud noise, things are likely to get worse, so if I were you I'd be careful about it and keep my ears away from loud noise.

As a musician, you can/should use hearing protection (IEMs or other devices that let you control volume). It's never too late to start protecting your ears, but it's probably too late to reverse the damage incurred.

If you're still good a pitch matching and singing, then you can probably keep those abilities by preventing further damage.
