      Tinnitus Since:
      For about 2 months
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      I honestly don’t know
Aight so I’m 18 years old, just graduated from high school, I’m not sure as how I got tinnitus but I do acknowledge that most of the times it is permanent. So my guess is that since I used to clean my ear with a Bobby pin I feel like I might have punctured my ear drum and that’s what caused my tinnitus.

After I went to the doctor she told me that I in fact did puncture my ear drum and that I should take medicine to help it heal and prevent infections.

So after 2 weeks I went back and she said my ear drum was great and that I should finish the medicine and then get my ear checked with a specialist, she told me that it might just be an ear wax blockage, however, I haven’t gone to the specialist since my mom is busy most of the time and we don’t have money at the moment, so when I do go and the specialist cleans my ear, will the noise go away?

I have prayed as much as possible as I had plans to go to college and play soccer but if not, I have accepted tinnitus to be permanent. Thanks for reading and may y’all wait for a way to stop tinnitus.

      Acoustic Trauma
If that's the case, there is a high chance that your tinnitus will be gone several months after your ear drum heals.
It could go away several months after the wax gets cleared from your ears. But make sure to insist that they use manual tools, and that they Don't do Microsuction or even syringing, as people have had their tinnitus become much louder after being subjected to those procedures.

Thanks that’s something I like to hear, hopefully obviously. Either way I’ll keep the thread updated
