Hello.
I am writing my little story to you.
i started having tinnitus suddenly in 2019 and all that came with panic, stress and the thought that my life was ruined.
But after some time and a certain level of habituation I started to adapt and resume a life different from the one before but which has become normal for me and in which I find myself quite fulfilled (I protect my ears, and am not afraid to talk about it around people either).
My tinnitus is there but it's no longer a squatter but something that keeps me company if I focus on it.
I started to frequent Tinnitus Talk less often. Even if the majority of the members are benevolent, I remember that a handful of naysayers could make me very sad while a thousand other comments suggested a more optimistic future.
I also recently got a splint for my sore mouth I've had since the onset of the tinnitus and I noticed some improvement (who knows, it might help someone else too).
Cordially.
Good luck to all of us.
