My Tinnitus Spiked After Eye Tests — I'm Wondering Why?

Hi Folks,

Here's a weird one.

I went for an eye test last week. They performed some standard tests - indirect ophthalmoscopy / Fluorescein test / GAT / Anterior segment photo. In the course of that they applied eye dilation drops / numbing agent, but no other medication.

Woke the next day with a big increase in my tinnitus which has persisted to today.

Anyone ever experience anything similar? Cannot imagine that the tests / dilation / numbing agent would cause anything like this.
