New Here but Not to Tinnitus

What a relief to find a place like this. Never looked to hard for a forum because I figured if I ignored the noise, ringing and hissing in my ears it would go away. I have had this since 1990 and have worked on just ignoring it. Sometimes that works and other times well not so much! Had ENT doctor look at it way back when and he told me to suck it up and ignore it because it was what is was! Tried the over the counter things and they got richer while I got poorer! Found this forum after watching the video about Dr Phillips...... yeah I didn't fall for it but read all the posts! I need to check out more threads here. Nice to have a place to go!

Yes.. I'm 6 months into my T.
Do you know how you developed T?
It sucks there is no cure for T.
We spend billions on wars, but not a dime to find a cure for T, which also affects thousands of soldiers who come home with T.

 

No idea really. Never had ear problems of any kind, it just seemed to happen.
