Hello, I have had a ringing in my ear for about a week. I was exposed to a really loud sound and didn't develop the ringing till about 3 days after the incident. I suffer from a bit of anxiety and depression but seem to be handling this ok. Definitely ups and downs when dealing with this. It's nice to see other people's stories and I had know idea this could happen I thought u just lost your hearing. People really do take their ears for granted. Look forward to finding a way to getting my mind around this issue.

MemberWelcome to the forum. Since your tinnitus is so new and may be related to acoustic trauma, you may want to get your doctor/ENT to prescribe a course of prednisone or other corticosteroids.
