Hallo, ik ben een vrouw van 47 jaar en ik worstelen met tinnitus sinds juli 2007. Ik woon in Nederland, hebben we ook een Nederlandse tinnitus en hyperacusis forum, maar dat is niet bezocht door veel mensen. Dus nu ben ik op zoek buiten onze grenzen en ik toevallig op dit forum te lezen.

Mijn tinnitus begon plotseling. 8 juli 2007 werd ik wakker met een zeer hoog geluid in de linkerkant van mijn hoofd. Na een bezoek aan artsen, ziekenhuis, audiciens etc. de conclusie was: geen schade aan uw oor. Niets kan worden gedaan en je zult er wel aan wennen.

Nu in 2014 heb ik goed, maar ook nog slechte periodes. Ik wacht nu op TRT therapie in België, maar er is een wachtlijst, misschien kan ik starten in augustus / september. Ik hoop ervaringen lezen van andere mensen, de manier waarop u uw tinnitus te behandelen, behandelingen etc.

Excuseer me voor het niet schrijven van correct Engels (ik denk dat het lijkt op Nederlands Engels), maar ik hoop dat je het begrijpt.

Thanks for the welcoming, that feels realy good. I am busy to search the forum, so much information! And knowing I am not alone in the struggle against tinnitus.

I hope TRT will help me accept the tinnitus and make me feel less concerned about it.
