For the first time, I am now experiencing:

      - In my left ear

      - Recurring stabs of high pitch tinnitus (almost sounds like a faint bell too, but it's a high pitch Ping) starting mildly loud then fading to nothing over 1 second or so

      - Recurring 10-15 seconds apart

It's been going on for a solid 10 minutes, and it's not fading, I think this might be permanent. Best way I can describe this is like hiccups in my left ear. Anyone else experience this?

I would have your ear checked as could be the start of an infection of fluid behind your drum.
