New to Forum, Not to Pulsatile Tinnitus

I saw my doctor about 18 months ago. I had some popping noises which inteferred with sleep. Twice she tried to rotate a stone that she suspected had formed in my ear. This did not help. The noise became worse and now is pulsating and had been for at least a year. I have not seen any other doctors nor have I returned to my family doctor for this. I can push in on my neck and make it stop. Does anyone else have tinnitus that can be stopped with pressure on an area?
