      Hi All,

I have been having a strange sensation in my ears lately, closest I can describe is when you have water in your ears and it's drying out, you feel it clear up with a tingly sensation - that's what I'm feeling a few times a day.

Went to ENT, they did hearing test where my hearing was normal - no ear infections and they didn't seem bothered - prescribed nasal spray and drug (Aerius).

Still not convinced after few weeks on this medication and talked to my Internalist who said we can do brain MRI which is now freaking me out thinking it could be brain tumour.

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks

      Tarek

Generally the MRI to diagnose ear problems is meant to rule out (or reveal) acoustic neuroma (benign tumor). I suspect that's what you've been told.
But in your case, since you suffer bilaterally, AN is possible but unlikely. Still, it's not a bad idea to have more data and rule out things like tumors.
